Miss.Sandoval this is my video performance about Oedipus and the Sphinx.
Reflection:
1-What our group did as a chorus work was when me,Presha and Anishka were going around Oedipus(Sam) in the oracle scene.We were waving our hands up and down while saying "kill your father, marry your mother."So that became our chorus work and we said it in a rather high-pitched voice to kind of make it look a bit scary and sound scary.The reason we waved our hands were because so we can make Oedipus(Sam) look more terrified and adds more action rather than just walking around him normally being neutral and saying"Kill your father,marry your mother."So that would be boring.We said "kill your father,marry your father"repetitively and slowly so everyone in the room can understand us.So we said it louder after each sentence to try and add expression.
1-One moment, was when I became the guard leading the horses and guarding the the king of thieves so when Oedipus came and killed the king I said "I will kill you for this"very quietly and quickly so Oedipus can't hear me going up to him but when he turned around and saw me that's when I got shocked and started to scream.
3-One moment when I used body language was when I tried to move my hands up and down in my back so people can see that I am the tail of the Sphinx and that Anishka in front of me was moving her hand on her sides so it would look like the eagle wings and Presha wore a mask so to make her look scary and since there was three parts of the riddle me,Presha and Anishka took one part of the riddle to make it sound effective to audiences.
